FP98 adding search page - need help

Trying to add a "search page" component to a site. When I add it,
instead of showing up as an actual search box, it shows up as [FrontPage
Search Component]

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It must be published to a server with the FrontPage server extensions
installed in order to view the search component.

Are you publishing and testing on a live/remote server that has the FP extensions?
