Two items I have bee having trouble with on a new website.
First, Using FP 2002 with MS Word XP.
I have a form with fields created in MS Word. It is saved
as a .dot file and imported into the FP web. Then I
created a page of instructions in FP for filling out the
form.
Now I use a frames page with vertical split to put the two
items side by side on the screen. The intent is once the
user understands the instructions they can resize the
frames and fill out the form. The problem is the resize
works fine once or twice then during subsequent logins to
the page you can't resize the frame. The resize arrow
shows up and the bar will move a few pixels but then no
more movement is possible.
A separate item, also related to this frames page is when
the page is closed, a login screen pops up for the user to
log in to the web site. This is, obviously, undesired on
several levels.
Again, FP and Word 2002. The Word form is saved as a
template (.dot) on the server.
BTW, the rationale for using a Word form is because it is
a long form with many options to fill in. A form built in
FP (using my budget) can't be resaved and completed
later. The Word form can.
All help/suggestions are appreciated.
