Frank,
We all know you want to be an MVP (if you are not
already), but give it a rest mate! You must be on the
machine every waking hour, get a life!
It's getting quite boring on here because of you, I don't
want to see every question answered by the same person.
No offence intended,
George.

People ask questions to get an answer - if one person can answer most of
them and is good enough to do so leave him alone - he has helped me in the
past

Frank keep it up

Frank is probably the most helpful, overall, person on the list. He also
would have done well in the old west as a "quick draw artist".Perhaps you
could block his messages if you don't feel a need for his help.

Hi George
wasn't sure if I should answer this:
1. MVP: No I'm not an MVP and this is not the reason for answering
questions
2. As I had to work quite regulary (also on this weekend) on my PC this
is a nice break for me from 'normal' work
3. I think the purpose of a NG to help other's (not to entertain). But
If you don't like my answers you can easily put the on your 'Ignore'
list in your newsreader as I will do with you for the future to don't
bother you again with my answers
4. Believe me I have quite a life outside this NG <vbg>

I'm a big fan of Frank's advise.
I know when I get a reply from Frank, it is going to be good.
I know I've said it before, but i'll say it again,
Thanks Frank!

Long live Frank!

Whenever i post a query, he normally has a solution within an hour! So
what's the problem if he's answering the questions?

....

No harm in that as long as there are others to read Frank's responses and
offer gentle corrective advice when circumstances warrant.

I'm pretty sure that the OPs are very happy to see a valid answer no matter who
posts it, regardless of your feelings on the matter. You could always put Frank
in a killfile though, albeit it would curtail the amount of educational matter
that you have to read quite considerably, so possibly not the best solution to
your problem. Given that it appears to be a personal one though, I'm not
anticipating any wide take-up of support for your stance this issue, and besides
which it would mean the rest of us have to answer more posts, and that would
never do now, would it..... :)
