free product update needs code where do i get it

hi ihave Xp 02 and my computer crashed and i am reloading everything and
Microsoft said go get internet upgrades i did, i installed and now it says i
need an xp2003 product code...i downloaded all the "free" upgrades and only
have the 02 product code how do I get past this code screen to open my
outlook?
i know probably a rookie question.....Help please!
