Freeze columns in the table

Hi Yoav,

Project does not directly have the ability to freeze columns in a table
like Excel. However, a work around that gets somewhat close.

Edit the table (View > Tables > More Tables, select the table and click
the Edit button). By default, the first column in the table is
"Locked". By editing the table definition so the column (field) you
wish to have "frozen" is the first in the Table Definition, that column
(field) will remain at the left most side of the table as you scroll.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hey, Julie
I saw that I can't freeze more than one field by your method, can I?
Thanks,
Yoav

Hi Yoav,

No, sorry. Only the first field in the table can be frozen. Depending
upon what data you want to have frozen, it may be possible to combine
data from several fields into a custom field and freeze that custom
field.

Tell us a bit more about what you are trying to accomplish and we'll see
if we can come up with a solution.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
