Freeze panes not there

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

I have freeze panes on my toolbar and it's working, but it gone from the Windows menu. Why is that? thanks.

Is *Un*freeze Panes there instead? If so it's because you currently have the
feature turned On. Turn it Off & it will revert to Freeze Panes.

OK, that's what I wanted to know ‹ the command is missing altogether.

First try going into the Customize Toolbars/Menus dialog on the Toolbars
page select the name of the Worksheet Menu Bar & click the Reset button.

If that doesn't correct it go back into that dialog on the Commands page &
drag the Freeze Panes command from the Commands list to the place it should
be in the Window menu.
