freeze panes problem

ive had this problem a few times now.

im trying to freeze row 1 and for some reason it insists on freezin
from row 11. ive unfrozen it and tried it again several times, an
nothing works. if i try to freeze anything above row 11 then it seem
to freeze from row 11 anyway!

had this problem on other spreadsheets in the past and have no ide
whats going on. ive tried selecting different cells and eve
highlighting the entire row and it does the same thing all the time.

whle im on the subject is it possible to have a double freeze pane
i.e. i want to freeze row 1 AND column A, but cant seem to do thi
either.

Thank

Hi
after removing any existing freezed panes move the cursor
to cell B2
After this goto 'windows - Freeze Panes'

that seems to have sorted it, now i have top row and left colum
frozen.

i still cant work out why when i select the top row or cell A1, i
freezes from the 12th row down!

Thank

When you do a Freeze Panes with the top most visible row (or a
cell in that row) selected, it freezes at the middle of the
visible window. That just how Freeze Panes works.
