freeze values

XL2000
I made a sheet that helps me do estimates based on several different
products and lengths.
everything works perfectly but one little detail
When I input some sizes, excel does its thing, and give me all the
information in six separate cells.
Problem is, in six cells just below I need to estimate basically the same
product but with different sizes
when I change the sizes all of the information changes on the first six
cells
Question is there away to freeze the first six cell information before I
change the size for the next size cells

Hi Alan

AFAIK only be "removing" the formulas from the first six cells - if this is
okay then copy the first six cells, and then click on the first one and
choose edit / paste special - values and click OK.

Instead of have one set of cells in which you input the sizes, have
cells in each row, where you input the sizes for that row.

in one sheet there are five named ranges (pipe)1"-300" @ .03 per inch, then
rubber 1"-300" @ .05
then Flat stock 1"-300" @ .06 then clips 1"-300" @ .01
so All I need to do is enter a1 # then A2# or a1 18 A2 72
then vlookup will lookup the prices I need per inch add it all up an place
it where I needed it
My problem is when I change the value in A1 and A2 everything prior changes.
