Freezing headers and first column?

Hi,
I have a long and wide worksheet. I have frozen the header so that I
can scroll down it and still see the headers but if I scroll sideways
I lose sight of the first column - in this case the date.

Is it possible to lock selected columns too if the header is already
frozen?

Try this:

Put the active cell in Cell b2
Go to Window Unfreeze Panes
The re-apply using Windoe Freeze Panes
The top left corner of the active cell is where the Freeze Panes takes
effect from
