Freezing Tables

I need to freeze the size of a table I am using as the template is being used
for a test and we do not want the participants to write more than one page.
How do I freeze a table - or is there something else I can use instead of a
table in order to freeze the text area?

Go to Table > Table Properties > Row and set the row height to an Exact value.

This won't stop people from typing more into the cell than will fit, but the
excess won't appear. Even the most oblivious users eventually get the hint.
