French to English in Word for Mac

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I live in Paris and just bought an iMac and with it bought Microsoft Word for Mac so that the computer is compatible with all the PCs in the house that run Word.

It didn't occur to me when I bought the software that it would be in French. I speak French but my kids do not and it is annoying. It seems that there should be a simple way to change it to English though.

Is there?

Sorry. The interface language for Office cannot easily be switched like
that. Although it is possible for many programs on the Mac, Office is an
exception.

Use Help | Send Feedback in any Office program to ask MS to enable this
in future versions.

As Daiya indicated Mac Office is not multilingual within itself - there's a
different pkg for each language. Check with your source to see if they
can/will exchange it for an English version. I would think the English
version would be readily available in France but if not contact MS support
re an exchange.
