I am a moderator for various email distribution lists and they are typically
set up as moderator-only email distribution. So, I must use the "From"
address and use the moderator email of that domain to send them "from" in
order for it to succeed. This has worked flawlessly for years. However, of
late it stopped. i can't pinpoint when, but within the last couple of months
my emails are no longer going out. I thought something changed on my
distribution list setup until this morning when i sent an email from my
wife's computer with my address in the "from" field and she got the
auto-response. Why did this change? I would normally get any email response
even though the recipient would see the "on behalf of" statement in the from
line.
