Front Page '02 Time Stamps

Each page of my site has a time stamp to show when it was
last updated. The date is correctly shown on the web
pages during development but when they're published a
completely different (wrong) date appears on the web
site. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

The server is run by my ISP (COX)and I assume they're
correct. I'm seeing dates like 2089 (not 2004)- it's way
off! Maybe I need to contact COX.
