Front Page 2002 Crashes

Win xp pro. Office 2002 pro.

Bought the FP2002 step by step book and installed the practice files. I can open the file as in
lesson one, but if I try to do ANYTHING, modify, close, or open another file it crashes FP. I have
two other webs that I can work with perfectly, just the step by step files crash.

Reinstalled FP. Reinstalled SBS. Did all the "did you" items I've seen here so far. Gave up after
over an hour on hold with MS.

Any help appreciated.

What error message do you get w/ the crash
If transferred from a CD, did you remove all read only attributes from the files/folders

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
6) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS Office

Thanks. As I stated in my post, I've done all the "did you" items I've seen posted in this group.
The error message is VERY long and not copyable. Is there any particular message I should be looking
for? The only file mentioned is a .mso file way down the list of what appears to be a stack dump.

Also, just noticed that even though I unchecked the read only box for all the files, The next time
I view it's properties, it's marked read only again. I transferred the files from the CD by using
it's "install practice files" option.
