Front page forms

Hi,

I want to create a form that posts to a database but the option to create
the database is greyed out.

I have looked everywhere to see if I can switch this on. The only thing I
can think of is that I have installed salesforce.com which might have done
something to my system.

Has anyone had this issue and how do i configure front page to enable a
database in the form?

Thanks

Nick

You need to be running a server based web under the FP SE and set your site properties to enable the FP SE

Many thanks for getting back to me but I don't understand your post. I have another version of front page on another PC and its fine. I create a web site on my PC using frot page and then publsih to the server.

What is a server based web? I have never used this

Hi Stefan, I really appreciate you help but I am just not getting it. How do
you create a server base web?

I am in front page and I have many web sites that I publish.

Can you take me through the options? If you are going to take me through how
to create a front page web then this is not the problem.

We have a number of versions of front page and my machine is the only one
that can't create a database in a form.

I have been using salesforce.com and maybe a setting has been changed
because forms are directed to their site.

Thanks in advance

To use a local Server enter http://localhost/webname/ when you create a
new Web.
To use an online Server enter http://www.yourdomain.com/
