Front Page graphics problem

I have been using FP 2002 for several years to build a web site dealing with
various hobbies. In the last couple of months I have been having problems
inserting graphics. Whatever the source program (I usually use PSP) the image
looks fine in the editor, but when I paste it into FP, the image develops a
checkerboard of discoloration. To see examples, look at
http://www.snap-dragon.com/snaps.htm. The images up to November are ok, but
click on the December image and you will see the effect.
I have tried reinstalling and switching graphics editors but cannot get rid
of the problem. Any suggestions greatfully received.

I don't know if this will solve the problem, but try saving the image from
PSP to disk - in your FP web somewhere - and then using the Insert, Image
command to put it on the page. Maybe the copy/paste is the problem.

Many thanks for that Peter, I don't know why I didn't think of trying that
myself. I would still be interested to know why it is happening, though, I
have always pasted in the past - especially on the stamp pages, the image
saving and insertion will be a royal pain by comparison, but at least I can
get back to work now.
Cheers

You should always Import the images into FP first before placing them into
your layout.

You must have fixed the problem because they look fine now.
