Front Page:Icons appear on desktop after site updated. Why?

Front Page 2003. After updating and transmitting a web site to a server the
pages I worked on show up as icons on my desktop. I have to continually
delete them. Why is this happening? How do I stop it

Are you starting FP from a shortcut? Try starting it from Start | Programs
and see if the same thing happens.
