Front Page shared borders disappeared with upgrade--help!

After upgrading to Front Page 2003, the navigation system and shared borders
on our existing sites (2) are messed up. I fixed it by downloading the site
and resaving all the files on my computer. Now when I access the computer
files, they are all messed up again. Don't have time to rebuild two sites
and am wondering if the upgrade is faulty. Please help!

Open the (hopefully still working ) FP online site and Publish it to your PC in FP (don't "download" it)

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I can't even make your suggestion
work. This may be because I don't fully understand what you're suggesting.
I don't see anyway to open the on-line site except through the FTP feature.
So I tried to move the files from remote to local and get an error message
that says "There is already an FTP request in progress on this session."
Then it stops the process.

Can you be more specific with your advise? I've used Front Page for 4-5
years but am mostly a graphics layout person...not a cyber guru by any means!

Thanks again! --eolliges--
