Front page Still Crashing on Me

I've found some information on this with a Google search:
"FrontPage FAQ details:

Category: How To - FrontPage 2002

Question: When I use FrontPage 2002, it crashes frequently when I try to
edit a page or I get a "System Exception: Access Violation" error?

Comments: There was a problem with one of the dll files in the X: drive
installation that was causing problems with websites that use themes or
banners. This problem has been fixed and a reinstallation of FrontPage 2002
will solve the problem.

I couldn't find any information on just what was done to "fix" the problem.
Does this help anyone figure this out? (I know you have recommended Product
Support, but I'm still hoping we can figure it out here).

I put in a request, at 2:34 pm EST yesterday (Feb 3, 2005). So far no
reply.

Well there is good news - Frontpage is working

Here is what I did. You can try this if you dare, but please don't hold me
responsible.

1) Uninstall FrontPage
2) Do a cleanup of temporary files (*.web)
3) Delete the cmdui.prf file
4) Start Run Regedit
5) Find and delete all FrontPage keys (there are several so do lots of
searches)
6) Reinstall FrontPage

PS I still don't have an answer from MicroSoft support! Go figure.
