That is usually when FP is attempting to update the meta data on the server
- try having your host run a serve health check
or
Deleting all local FP web cache
(try the tool at
http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm)
then opening both your local & your online sites in FP and running a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks before you republish
