Front Page templates, specifically the "normal page" template

I am creating a website and using the "normal page" under
the File/New/Page or Web tabs. When it creates my page on
the left side of the template page created the background
color is yellow and fads to white at it progesses to the
right of the page.

How do I change the color from Yellow to a different color?
