What will happen to all the Front Page users now that Microsoft is doing
away with Front Page and working on a beta called Expression Web?

Will we be able to convert our front page web sites to Expression Web?

You can convert to using Expression Web or continue to use FrontPage. There
will still be people in these news groups to provide help.

All you would do is open the site in Expression, there is no import, etc. needed.

Nothing changes (to filenames)
- you will no longer be able to Add and new FP webbots
(but any you have will still work)

| We sincerely apologize for all of the questions; we are humble Hawaiian shirt
| manufactures in San Diego, not really web developers. Since it seems that for
| the most part all we need to do is open the existing FP web with Expression,
| which is great, but that leads to our next and hopefully final questions.
|
| First question is about existing file names. When we open the existing web
| in Expression will it still use the same file names that end in .htm? Our
| concern is loosing well ranking pages.
|
| Second question is uploading, will it still use the existing extensions on
| the server or will we need to change the way we upload?
