Frontpage 2000 Server Extensions

I've installed the server extensions. The web server is on my
computer. I added a hit counter. When I go to my web page, the hit
counter is there but the number does change.

Any help available?

Did you read the help files under "hit counter"? Sounds like you have a place
holder for a counter installed. You really don't want or need counters visible
on a page anyway, as they have no redeeming value what-so-ever!

It looks like a hit counter but the number don't change from one.
More important I want to insert a guestbook. I tried and it didn't
work, so I installed server extensions and it still don't work.
