Frontpage 2003 Interactive Buttons

I have created an interactive button with the image
options Hover and Pressed Image selected. I expect to
have 3 *.gif files generated but only get the default
button - Any ideas

Did you choose to save all three images when you were prompted?

I was only prompted with one image
I have now read other mails below relating to Interactive buttons with SP2
which I have loaded before I started to use FP2003 and realise that I have
exactly the same problem as Steve Roberts 9/8/2004 in that also only see the
little red 'x' in the box. You say that it is better to use Interactive
Buttons in FP2003 but that is what I am doing and I still seem to have a
problem.

You likely forgot to tick "Create hover image" and "Create pressed
image" on the "Image" tab of the Interactive button dialog. The X you
talk about is because the image isn't there and has nothing to do with
SP2 as such.

No I definitely checked the 3 buttons 'Create Hover' 'Create Pressed' and
'Preload'. I've just tried it on a new page but when I come to save the page
I'm only prompted with Button 1. I can see from the code that it expects to
have Button 2 & 3 as below but there's no sign of them.

<body
onload="FP_preloadImgs(/*url*/'[R]file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/My%20Documents/My%20Web%20Sites/Rotary2/[R]file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/button2.jpg%27%27,/*url*/%27[R]file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/button3.jpg%27%27,/*url*/%27[R]file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/button2.jpg%27%27',
/*url*/'[R]file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/button3.jpg%27')">

The problem could be your user name. The apostrophe in "Stuart's Session"
might be confusing things. AFAICS, the onload statement is corrupted.

example:
,/*url*/%27[R]file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/button3.jpg%27%27,/

should be

,/*url*/'file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart%27s%20Session/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/button3.jpg',/

Move your webs to a top level folder, like C:/mywebs, and remove all spaces
and illegal characters (including apostrophes) from folder and file names.
