FrontPage 2003 link problem

One of the links on the link bar no longer works on the
website itself. In the Design mode, I am able to move
from link bar to the selected page using Ctrl click. I
have checked everything I can think of and uploaded the
entire website again and it still doesn't work when I
view it using IE 6.0. All other links work just fine. I
don't know how to find the code for the link bar in
question. Any help will be appreciated.

you'll need to post a url for the offending page for us to give you a good
answer.

I have changed the file name from Books&Articles.htm to
Books_Articles.htm. However, I don't know how to change
the link bar on the Products page so it now points to the
renamed page. Once I make that change, do I need to
upload just the index.htm to my site or do I also need to
upload the prducts.htm file? (My ISP does not have FP
extensions because of security problem, so I have to use
FTP). Thanks.

if you changed this with FrontPage should take care of updating the link bar
for you. also you should just republish your web (changed pages only box
checked).

I'm not sure what you mean by changing the file name with
FrontPage. I opened the page in FrontPage and then saved
it under the new name. I do not know how to get the link
bar button link to point to the new-named file. Perhapes
there is some other way I should be trying to make this
change. Also, as I explained in my previous message, I am
not able to publish FrontPage because of security
restrictions by the site host. Therefore, I must FTP all
files to the site. That is why I'm wondering what files
I'll have to upload once I make the changes. I appreciate
any guidance you can give to this beginner. Thanks.

Make sure that you have first open the web with the page in it via File Menu
| Open Web / Site and not just the page using File Menu | Open File before
working on any content within your web.

With the local web open in FrontPage, if you still have the page with the
old name, delete the page with the new name, then (no pages open) right
click the old page, choose Rename from the context menu, and rename the
page. All the links will be updated.
If you have already deleted the old page, with no pages open, from the menu
View > Reports > Site Summary
From here choose Broken Hyperlinks
You should see your oldpagename with status "Broken"
Double click this, in the Replace hyperlink with section Browse to your new
pagename.
Click replace.

Since you are FTPing your site, all pages that use the link bar must be
uploaded again, including the page with the new name.
Delete the old page from the live site.
