FrontPage 2003 with Office XP (2002)

I have a machince with Office XP (OS=WinXP Pro).

Will installation of FrontPage 2003 on the same machine
break anything in Office XP?

I believe that the various Office products share .dlls.
However, I'm not sure if this extends to FrontPage or
whether the overlap would still be compatible.

Any advice/experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do a custom install and don't install the MSO Common tools
Your MSO XP should be by default in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10
And MSO 11 (2003) products install by default in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11

I'm in the same boat. Why do you say not to install the MSO Common tools and
what are they? THanks.

They are the shared MSO tools (look in custom setup for content)
- generally not needed for FP
And the last / latest version installed rules your system!
- so your MSO XP might not work w/ the MSO 2003 common tools
