FrontPage 2003

I'm having a problem with the hit counter in fp 2003. When
I publish to my site it shows up at the bottom of the page
as a small box with a red X and the words "hit counter"
next to the box. This is my first website so I'm new at
this. Anyone know how to fix my problem?

Thanks,

Gracie

Works when I view the site. Takes it a while to display though

There is entirely too much on the page, including the web ring and the
background music, animated gif, other images, etc.. It takes forever to
load the page. Even then, I must stop the music, and do a refresh in order
to get the hit counter to appear.

At work: T-1, at home: cable broadband.

I would complete rework the page.

....but, my point is, that's what's causing the hit counter problem.

something else.
