frontpage adds <body> to a page and wipes out the the text

Every HTML page has <body> tags. That's why FrontPage puts them in. They are
part of the HTML Document Object Model.

when i open an existing page from my website, using frontpage, frontpage
inserts multiple <body> and </body> tags and overwrites the existing body of
the page. Could this be a server extensions problem?

What version of the FP server extensions? Have all the latest patches and
updates been applied to them?
