I am trying to update my website from Frontpage. The
password of the controlpanel of the website is supposed
to be the same as the one of Frontpage to access the
website from Frontpage. However, the website will allow
me to access the control panel, but Frontpage will not
accept my password to access the website. Is this a
Frontpage problem or a website problem?? And how do i fix
this?

Definitely start with your host. They may have some specific instructions on
how to supply your username and password that they don't make obvious (like
in windows systems adding the domain that the user account is a member of).
It could also be the account is setup incorrectly for FP access even though
the extensions are installed.

Hope this helps,

If your host's control panel has a Change My Password
feature, use it. Otherwise, call them.

If your web hosting company is running Cobalt servers you may need to
uninstall / re-install FP extensions and reset the pwd to what you'd like it
to be. Also, if they are running Cobalt servers, the user name you need to
use is webmaster instead of the username you use to log into the site.
