FrontPage Error when submitting form to email

Anyone know why I get a FrontPage Error when I click submit on a form that is
suppose to send results to an email address.
SMTP is loaded and working. We did test this.
Nothing really in the application log that it says to look at.
Any advice would be appreciated.

What is the error message?

Have you open the site directly on the server in FP and run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks?

The exact error is:
FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

I have logged on thru FP and recaculated the web but to no avail.
I also did upgrade to FPSE 2002 but still to no avail.

You look at the server's application log file, correct?

You are sending the email to an email address that is within the same domain as the web site,
correct?

Yes that is correct. Same domain.
I did look at the Application event log and I am seeing some errors saying:
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions
Error #160002 Message: Cannot connect to SMTP Host 00.00.00.00

We are running Exchange Server 2003 and My Exchange Admin stated that SMTP
is working on the IIS server that I am attempting to get this running on.
Also I did do a search on that error and found this link.
http://www.kbalertz.com/kb_Q296697.aspx
However, Again my Exchange Admin stated that with Exchange Server 2003 we do
not need to load IMS becuase it is running throught its own SMTP service and
IIS.

I had the same problem on the DEV server until upgrading to FPSE 2002.
Thanks for you help.

Suggest you post to the Window Server newsgroup or Exchange, as I think there is a specific way to
set up Exchange to allow the FP extensions to send email.
