Frontpage Forms are slow to process

Hi,

I just started using forms on Frontpage 2002 and I've discovered that it
takes a really long time between clicking the submit button and going to the
confirmation page. Is there something simple I'm missing? Thanks.

Are you talking about a local copy, or the hosted version?

Correct you are on slow server, which if this is hosted, could be the result of too many site or not
enough memory or both.

Yet another example of "you get what you pay for." When I was poor, I used
to buy $20.00 shoes, about every six months. Now I buy Rockports, and
although they cost 3 times as much, they last 5 times as long. As a result,
my shoe budget is smaller now.

So, the real question is, can you afford to run a business web site on the
"cheaper" hosting service? In the long run, it will cost you more. Nobody is
going to hang around 5 minutes waiting for a form to process. That means
lost business.

Well, thanks for the information. I guess I'll have to see about different
hosting.

All the best.
