FrontPage not recognizing PNG graphics

I am trying to insert a PNG graphic via Insert>Picture>From File. When the
graphic I select is in PNG format, I get a message that "This image file
format is not supported."

I have friends who use FrontPage with PNG graphics and have no problem at all.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much,

Sounds like the image itself has a problem, possibly not using RGB color.

What version of FP?

I believe the graphic is fine because I sent the graphic to a friend and she
was able to insert it in FrontPage2003 without any problem.

I also converted my graphic from the PNG format to JPG, thinking that PNG
was the problem, but I get the same message when trying to insert a JPG
graphic.

I appears that FrontPage2003 will not allow me to insert any graphics into
my work.

Any ideas?

Reinstall, and make sure the option to include all file filters is selected. It's
somewhat buried, and they aren't all selected by default, as I recall. If you have
the entire Office 2003 suite, you might want to use that product's install to do
this, as well. Interesting side query - does it work in Word?
