Frontpage removes javascript after save

Hello there,

I've got this odd problem, whenever I add some javascript to my asp page and
save it frontpage deletes the added javascript. Is there someway to prevent
this? Every time I edit the page I have to open it in notepad.

the code used is pretty commonly used in frontpage;

best way I've found to get around this sporadic problem:
set your cursor in the page where you want the JavaScript and click insert/
web component/ advanced control/ HTML.
a dialog box pops up. paste your JS into that dialog box.
FrontPage will wrap it with a web-bot tag and it'll be 100% hands off from
that point on.

Thanks, adding those lines does solve the issue. It is a lot of work to add
the lines to every page manually. Isn't there a way to change a setting so it
saves the page as it is?

If Steve's post doesn't solve the problem you can copy that little yellow
web bot tag in the design surface and paste it in other places. it's failry
quick as long as there's not too many pages.

Thanks for the replies. The javascript option is checked as Steve said. I
think I'll just have to put in some time to straighten things out manually.
Having the luck that there are a lot of pages.
