[FrontPage Save Results Component] veiwing on my web page.

Winton

Hello,

Can anyone help me figure why I have the "[FrontPage Save
Results Component]" loading on my web page when I publish
it. It does not show in FrontPage.

Also, when I exit out of the Form properties in FronPage,
I get the following error;

"This form is being created on a disk-Based Web or the
FrontPage Server Extensions have not been configured to
send e-mail. Please direct your system administer or
Internet Service Provider to the instructions in "setting
up E-mail Options on Windows" or "Setting Up E-mail
Options on UNIX" in the Server Extensions Resource Kit.
If you do not have the Server Extensions Resource Kit,
you can find it at
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk.

Would you like to remove the e-mail
recipient? "Yes" "No""

What do I need to do to not get this error. I went to
the above link and it doesn't exsist.

Thanks for your help,

Winton

Make sure your host has the extensions installed on your server.
Then *always* publish using your http:// address such as http://yourweb.com
Using ftp:// will break the extensions.

Always click No on the prompt to remove the email address, it will work when you publish to an
extended server providing your host has enabled the form to email transport.

Winton....
extended server providing your host has enabled the form to email transport.
This part from his answer fixed this same problem for me recently.

Best to you......
