I would agree that I probably did something FrontPage didn't expect or
understand to remove the web that wouldn't "fully delete". it's never
happened when I delete a sub web in FrontPage with the parent web open. ;-)

wrote in message The only times it's happened to me was when I used Windows Explorer to
delete the folder rather than deleting it from within FP. ... and I too
don't remember how I fixed it. I 'think' I opened it with FP and let it
create a web out of it then deleted it from FP.
| is this web server or disk based? i.e. what's the address that's showing
| when you have it open in FrontPage (the parent web of the one that's not
| supposed to be there)?
|
| sometimes in FrontPage tools/ recalculate hyperlinks does the trick.
|
| sometimes I've got to open IIS and repair the fp extensions on the parent
| web.
|
| It's not just you, it's happened to me a few times, unfortunately I'm
| usually in such a flurry to get rid of it I can't recall _exactly_ what I
| did as a remedy but it's definitely fixable.
