FrontPage stopped working when I installed Office 2003. Why?

I have been using FrontPage to build my business website...installed Office
2003 because I needed an updated version of PowerPoint (I had 2000), and now
I can open my FrontPage website, but I can't do anything with it...it keeps
asking me for my 2000 cdRom...which unfortunately is no longer in my
possesion! What should I do?

Why don't you have your 2000 CD, as it is required in order to do any updates as well?

Sound like you let Office 2003 replace prior version of Office apps, where as you should have select
to keep prior versions.

The shared Office components are shared by all office applications in a
suite. Unfortunately, if you install a new version of office without
explicitely telling it not to install any of the shared functionality, it
will over-write that functionality of the other installed versions. In this
case, the Office 2003 shared components over-wrote the Office 2000 shared
components used by FP 2000. FP 2000 cannot use these so it is asking for the
CD to install the 2000 shared components back. Unfortunately, you won't be
able to fix this really without your original FP 2000 cd.

Hope this helps,
