Frontpage uploads SLOW

J

Jason

I have been with multiple ISP's and have never had any
slowness with uploading/publishing webs from one server
to another, but now I have a remote Windows 2003 server
and the uploads via Frontpage are 2-4KB/s! So slow...
I've tried FTP and it zooms right along at 100-120KB/s,
what could be slowing up frontpage so much on a Windows
2003 server?

Please help, thanks in advance.

Hi Jason,

Have you tried the normal fixes:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
4) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE6

Do each in turn to identify the problem.

I have exact the same problem and have tried "the normal fixes" without any
help. I tried to first publish the main web (without the subwebs) but the
publish rate was still 0-2 kB/sek, when my Internet connection is 8 Mbit/sek.
Would be very grateful for any further suggestions to solve this problem.
