FrontPage2002 Size Limit

Is there a size limit for FrontPage 2002? I have a website that is 1.1GIG
and all of a sudden I have been having issues with any page that displays
info from a database. My webhost said it was too big to work properly and
that my FrontPage program is corrupt that is why there is a problem. It is
also password protected with Authentix which he said was the problem in the
first place. But since changed his mind and says my FrontPage program is at
fault now. I have recently done the SP2 update, could there be an issue with
that and FrontPage? My webhost said the problem is not at their end. Any
ideas.

If you are having issues with any page that displays info from a database,
start with the database itself. If it's an Access database, that could be
your problem right there. Access itself degrades significantly as volume of
simultaneous users increase. The idea that FrontPage is causing grief just
because the site is large doesn't make a lot of sense, especially since only
a few pages will actually use any of the dynamic FP features (such as save
results form, search forms,etc...). Even features such as the database
results in FP are actually just using another technology (ASP) and problems
with ASP are a whole other issue.
