Frustrating Format Issues

O

Olen

I have created a letterhead version of my fax coversheet - complete with form fill-in boxes for the basic 'To,' 'From, 'Fax Number,' etc. At the bottom of my coversheet I have two bold horizontal lines. Regardless of what I try (using section breaks) everytime I type in the body of the coversheet, the two bold lines automatically rolldown to the next page

Is there any way around this? I would like the two bold lines to be locked into place and not move - regardless of how much text I type in the body of my coversheet

Thank you in advance for your time & efforts

You need to do two things: 1) anchor the lines to a paragraph that is
guaranteed to remain on page 1 (Your 'To' line would be a good choice), and
2) right-click the line, select Format AutoShape, and set the line layout
relative to page.

Alternatively, make the lines part of your header or footer. There's no
problem about attaching graphics to the header or footer, even if the
graphics are located within the body of the page.
