FTP Does not support opening files from FTP servers

This is the message I get when I try to open my site. I have been back and
forth with my ISP and they say that FP does. In fact it does ask me for my
username and password and when I input them it gives me the above message.
Can anyone let me know why my software is not working?

FrontPage does not support opening sites via FTP. Only HTTP.

Thanks Jim.
I must say that I am really confused. Is there an add-on or upgrade that I
can get to allow this? My hosting service says they have many clients that
have FP and that have made the switch to their new server with no problem.

Nope. The FrontPage client does not provide the ability to open Web sites
with FTP. You can publish using FTP, but not open.

Well I finally got it:) I have been opening and updating my site for 4 years
using http and when my host changed server types (and got rid of FP
extensions) I was thrown a bit.
I do have a new question. I figured out the FTP publishing thing but I am
running into a new dilemma. I work on the website from 4-5 different
locations (home, work, Japan office, etc...) Right now I published my
website from my hard drive (home computer). How can the other locations
"download" the current version of the website before they start to publish
to it?? The old way (http) when, at the other location, I opened FP and the
website - I would have an updated version of the website in my FP to work
on. How do I "synchronize" or "download" the updated web in whatever
computer I am working on?
I hope that question is clear enough.

You can't without the remote server having the FP extensions. Also you need
to understand that if you have any FP run-time component, that they no
longer work, such as Forms, guest book, discussion web, hit counter, etc.

Thanks Thomas. I do have a form at
http://www.yoursourceinjapan.com/feedback.htm - that will not work. I
understand that it is because my host does not have FP extensions. I also
understand that if I put a certain script into the html of this page - it
will work.
Further my host sent me the below pasted source for the script. I have never
done this before and my question is - where in the html of that page do I
paste this snippet? In the Head? Below the title?
Here is what they sent me:

Necessary Form Fields

There is only one form field that you must have in your form, for FormMail
to work correctly. This is the recipient field.

Field: recipient
Description: This form field allows you to specify to whom you wish
for your form results to be mailed. Most likely you will want to configure
this option as a hidden form field with a value equal to that of your e-mail
address.

As of version 1.8, You can include multiple recipients by separating
the values with commas.
Syntax: <input type=hidden name="recipient"
value="[email protected]"> OR
<input type=hidden name="recipient"
value="[email protected],[email protected]">

Right after your opening <form tag:

OR

<input type=hidden name="recipient"

Note: This allow the email spam spiders to grab your email address, same as
using the FP Form Handler.
