ftp import

Hello, I am trying to import my site from the web using ftp and I get this error- Server error: the URL 'images/..../_vti_cnf ' is invalid. It may refer to a nonexsistent file or folder, or refer to a valid file or folder that is not in the current Web. I would like to know why frontpage can't create the folders like normal and second is there a way to keep frontpage from giving such errors about the frontpage specific folders if I really don't care whether the _vti_ folders are not there. Thanks Adam.

If the remote server has the FP extensions, then do not use import or FTP, instead open the site
directly in FP on the remote server, then publish back to your local computer, as publishing will
retain the web site structure, themes and navigation, which would be lost using FTP or FP Import
function.
