No, all FP run-time component require that the remote server have the FP extensions installed and
that you publish the site to the server via FP's File Menu | Publish web / site command to an URL
that beginning with http://.

Many hosting companies provide free counters that you can copy code into
your page. If your hosting company does not provide this service, you can
do a google search on free counters. Problem with free counters is that
company may go under and your counter may no longer work. I had that problem
with BeSeen counter. BCentral used to have free FastCounter that would work
on ftp site but I cannot find that anymore--only FastCounter Pro. I once
used FastCounter because I assumed company would not go under because it was
Microsoft.
