Is there a way to FULLY remove previous versions of Office? Some special .exe
on downloads.microsoft.com perhaps...
As a consultant, I install Office 2003 a lot. I would prefer, for Outlook's
sake, that older versions, specifically XP, be uninstalled first with ALL
registry entries and ALL hard drive folders/files be COMPLETELY removed.
When I do a basic Uninstall via Add/Remove Control Panel, some residue is
left on the computer as evidenced today when Outlook 2003 automatically used
the old email account config even though I removed the outlook.pst file from
the default location, which it complained about and then automatically
created a 2002 version of the .pst which I was trying to avoid. I've not know
the .pst to house account/password info, so it must have been stored
elsewhere.
