Full-page watermark print preview borders

H

Hector

When print previewing a full-page watermark, which I have inserted
through Format->Background->Printed Watermark->Picture Watermark
(Picture: 210x297mm 167ppi .jpg file, Scale: 58%, Washout), I always
get white borders around the edges of the page. Although the page
looks perfect in Print Layout, in Print Preview these borders take a
few millimeters from my watermark.

This same also happens when I put drawing objects in the Page
Header/Footer at the page edges.

I am using Word 2003 US.

Any suggestions how I can do a borderless print of my nice watermark?

Thanks for suggestions

Hi Hector,

This is totally dependent on your printer driver. If it's capable of
full-page or "bleed" printing, there will be an option somewhere in the File
Print > Properties dialog to turn it on or off. There is no other way
within Word to change that.
