full range zoom

A while back someone asked about changing a setting in Visio (I have 2003
std) so that zoom would adjust to any percentage typed into the dialog
window in toolbar or when dragging a rectangle instead of Visio going to
its standard zoom settings such as 25% and 50% and 100%.

I could never figure out the correct steps of what to do. And is it a global
setting or per .vsd file?

Yes, you can type in any zoom percentage into the zoom control on the
Standard toolbar. The catch is that you may not get a true zoom. Visio
will show you the closest available zoom level in the drawing. Zoom levels
in Visio are not very granular. You can type in 92% zoom but you will get
the same image as 91% or 94%.
