full screen frozen

After opening an email in word the view changed to full
screen, word "crashed" and now there is no way out of full
screen view. There is no full screen menu available when I
hover over the top bar and I cannot get out of full screen
view. I can close word and re-open in full screen but that
is all - no other menu options work. Any ideas?
