Full Screen overlaps Taskbar

Hello,

Since I installed word XP everytime I start word (maximized) it overlaps my
taskbar. When I click on open file or new, it blinks and I can do nothing.
Only in "window mode" I can use the program right.

Who can help?

Thanks Octavee

To keep Word from covering the task bar you will need to
make some changes to windows. Follow the steps below (I am
assuming that you are using Windows XP):

1. Right click the taskbar
2. Select properties
3. On the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties locate the the
check box labeled "Keep the taskbar on top of other
windows"
4. If there is no check, place a check in that box.

The reason why Word's taskbar place holder is blinking is
another issue. The following article from the Microsoft
Support Knowledge Base might provide a bit of insite.
Review the ariticle below carefully.

Hi Shayla:

I use win 98 SE on this PC.
Is there another way to do it there?

Thanks
Octavee
