Full version Office XP to Full version Office 2003

Generally when you install a newer version you are given the option to
upgrade and keep the older versions or upgrade and delete older versions. I
can't answer why you aren't getting that option.

Will Office 2003 install or haven't you tried? Is there a reason why you
don't just install the new version and then deal with the older versions
later?

Anyone at all?

:

I was wondering where to look for the upgrade option mentioned in the
setup
help and other posts here for 2003 Office suite setup. I have 3 apps
installed from a full suite CD and when I try to install from a full
suite
2003 CD, I don't get an option to upgrade. Any ideas where to look or
why
this option isn't available? It seems to me that I have had this
option
in
the past, but it has been a long while betweeen installs.

Any help would be appreciated!

JoAnn,
Truth be told, I'm being lazy. I have Office XP installed in a
terminal server environment with very specific options. Rather than trying
to figure out what these were again (it wasn't written down), I was hoping to
just let the installed pieces upgrade themselves as much as possible. 2003
does install, but makes me specify the options to install manually.
