Is it possible to copy an event (as done in Contacts with 'New Contact from
same Company') and drop it into a new date? Any workaround/add-on for
entering follow up events without having to re-type these into new dates, I
dont want to move the prior events.

you can copy an event - select it, press Esc if it's in edit mode, then copy
and paste into a new date.
