fx in Formula Bar

Hi,

I've used quite a lot Excel 2000 and now I'm using Excel
2003. In the formula bar, there is the "fx" to insert a
function. In Excel 2000, it used to be "=". Is there a
way
Excel 2003 to show "=" instead of "fx".

No, it's one of the more missed things..

No, the Equal Sign button is gone, and there's no way to replace it in
Excel 2003. You may find the following thread interesting:

I am not sure if this will work in your version.

Select Tools>Customise

When the Dialogue box appears click on the fx button on the tool bar
The button "Modify Selection" should appear, click this and choos
"Edit button image" this should then allow you to draw your own ico
